Families have been holidaying at Gwithian Sands since the first self-catering beach chalets were built here in the 1960’s. The original charm of the site has remained to this day: just thirty wooden chalets spaciously laid out in a grassy dune setting.
A 20 minute walk through the sand dunes to a stunning coastline.
The area around us has a very relaxing rural atmosphere and there are great pubs and cafes in the nearby villages of Gwithian and Connor Downs.
The huge expanse of Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy beaches forms the largest continuous sandy beach in Cornwall stretching over three miles in length.
The dunes are a nature lover’s paradise, a site of Special Scientific Interest, crossed by countless sandy paths, which meander down to the beaches beyond, affording wonderful views of Carbis Bay and St. Ives.
